We made it out of January! WHEW!  However, we still have to brace ourselves for whatever February and the winter months beyond bring us.
We get an extra day this month, being LEAP YEAR!

Happy New year 2020!   May God bless everyone a wonderful, successful, and healthy brand new year! Our family had a wonderful Christmas together, with great , and plentiful food, and gifts.  We hope yours did as well!
You are probably breathing a sigh of relief after all the hustle and bustle and mandatory things you had to accomplish during the Holidays!  We know!  After performing 20 Christmas shows, whew! A  break is needed.  Thus, a nice, calm January.
This month’s activities are all private parties. Unfortunately, no public events.
Gino and I look forward to a great year of entertaining you, and providing great shows for your pleasure!

October 2019 Schedule

Hello Family and Friends!
Just a quick thank you to all of Gino’s Italy family/cousins, who hosted us daily while we were in Bari/Corato, Italy Sept. 1 and 2 and 9-14th, with giant meals and warm hospitality!
It was a trip to remember…especially for Gino, since he hadn’t seen any of his Italy cousins since he was 11 years old!
They were even nice enough to drive to Potenza and Brindisi (in the mountains) where the De Vito (my side of the family) lived in the late 1800’s. (emotional for me), though I couldn’t find anyone 140 years old to interrogate.  haha.  2700 feet straight up to the little town of Brindisi.  sharp and winding turns all the way up.  SO SCARY!  but we made it!
(I’ll post photos on FB soon) In addition, we enjoyed a 7 night cruise to the Greek Islands and Venice, prior to the family Italy visit.  THANKS AGAIN, SOLDANO FAMILY!Blush
 
Summer is well-over.  FALL is in full-swing! We still can enjoy some great weather, and, of course, the breath-taking change of tree colors!  (We know that it is a long drive to the Upper Peninsula.  Still, it’s well-worth it, to put some days together, during the first 10 days of October, to see the gorgeous colors of nature.  Try to arrive during the peak of the window of colors!)
 
Most of October shall be split between Illinois, and the Upper Peninsula of Northern WI/and Michigan.  The last couple of days of the month, we shall return to South Florida for our Halloween Events in Delray Beach.
Because, the events in the UP are private, they won’t be shown in bold print.  However, the senior communities do open their facilities  to friends/neighbors.  That is why we publish dates/times.
 
We will keep you informed if any new venues pop up this month.  In the meantime, thank you, as always, for your support!

September 2019 Schedule

HELLO FAMILY AND FRIENDS!
We still have some summer days left, but heading for the FALL season of colorful leaves, moderate temperatures, and kids already back to school!
Gino and I have saved the first half of September to celebrate his birthday (8.29) in Italy plus a cruise from Bari, Italy through the Greek Islands, Venice, and back to Bari, Italy.  From there we shall visit Gino’s birthplace in Corato, Italy, and surrounding towns to visit with long, lost relatives.  We may even try to find some relatives of mine from the De Vito family, in Potenza?  We’ll see.
He hasn’t been back since he was 11 years old, when his family came to the USA.  So this is a BIG treat for him!
Our schedule will feature just private Illinois events from Sept. 19-30.

HELLO FAMILY AND  FRIENDS!
What a fabulous summer we’ve been having!  Gino and I hope that you and those you love, have been out and about
enjoying all the summertime festivals and sports that you enjoy!
 
Gino and I had a wonderful time performing for the huge crowd, which attends the Ishpeming, MI. Italian Fest every year.
It was warm, sunny and welcoming!  So many picnics, too, for our senior communities and their staff/families.
 
All of our public events shall be listed in bold print.
 
August in the Upper Peninsula is very active.  An Italian Fest in Iron Mountain, a County Fair in Iron River, where we’ll perform.
Bass Festival, and lots of street dances throughout  the area.  We know that it’s a 5 1/2 hour ride to the Upper Peninsula but what a fun family trip it would be, to see PURE MICHIGAN!
