HAPPY NEW YEAR 2017! May all of you be blessed with all things good through the New Year 2017!

Christmas and New Year’s Eve celebrations have come and gone….though, please keep the outdoor Christmas lights on for just a little while longer.

After performing for 28 Christmas parties and 2 New year’s Eve parties, we are ready to expand our shows for different selections…. although it was a lot of fun doing them!

We hope that your festivities were happy ones, though it’s perfectly OK to be sentimental and miss loved ones who have passed to a better place..

Gino and I look forward to a Great New year filled with new and fun adventures with each other, plus family and friends. Perhaps you will do the same.

Naturally, as public events present themselves month to month on our event calendar, we hope that you will join us often, for great entertainment listening and dance fun!

January, 2017, shall be split between Illinois and Southeast Florida for mostly private parties. The two public events shall be listed in bold print as shown below.

WELL, HERE IT IS DECEMBER, 2016, LOTS OF EXCITEMENT THIS YEAR IN OUR FAMILY!

BOTH OF OUR DAUGHTERS WERE EXPECTING. BABIES!  JACOB JAMES ZARR WAS BORN OCTOBER  26;  OUR OLDER DAUGHTER, JILL’S BABY BOY IS DUE AT THE END OF JANUARY.

ON ANOTHER NOTE….OUR CUBBIES FINALLY WON THE WORLD SERIES!! A REAL NAIL-BITER! WHEW WHO!

GINO AND I ARE VERY GRATEFUL FOR YOUR SUPPORT AND LOVE THIS YEAR, AND ALL THE PREVIOUS ONES.  THERE ARE SO MANY PEOPLE OUT OF WORK AND STRUGGLING.  WE ARE THANKFUL FOR THE VETERAN’S CLUBS WHICH HIRE US, THE FESTS, OCCASIONAL RESTAURANTS, AND OUR OVER 100 ASSISTED LIVING COMMUNITIES, WHOSE RESIDENTS LOOK SO FORWARD TO OUR SHOWS MAKING THEM HAPPY.

WE ALL HAVE HAD OUR UPS AND DOWN THIS 2016…BUT WE “KEEP ON KEEPIN’ ON,” AS THEY SAY, AS TOMORROW WILL BE BETTER!

HELLO FAMILY AND FRIENDS!

 

Gino and I hope that you had a great October, and a fun Halloween!  

We had an eventful October, ourselves.  We were in Florida during the hurricane, but luckily, the eye of the hurricane went north of our area.  We did experience high winds and heavy rains, but no electrical outage, or damage to homes, or landscaping.,

We would like to applaud the FL Governor, who had teams all over the place, handling everything, way in advance,.so efficiently!  Even the tolls on the highways were suspended, so that people could “get out” as quickly as possible.

 

We drove this time, too.  Again, that was good, because all the airports were closed.   The hard part was no motels or hotels had even one room available, all the way through FL, GA, and TN!  They were all filled with blocked rooms for surrounding area evacuees!

 

We were so tired.  After driving 10 hours, we HAD to ask a nearby hotel to rest in their lit parking lot for just a couple of hours. They were so gracious to permit us to do so.  We stopped again at KY at a rest stop during daylight, where we felt that we were safe.  Then we drove straight back to IL, where we arrived home, late in the evening, safe and sound.

 

We were also SO honored to become grandparents for a third time, from our daughter Amy, and her husband, Justin, when they presented their baby son into the world on Oct. 26th!  Such a cuddly, beautiful boy, they named JACOB JAMES ZARR! He’s home from the hospital in his own bed, getting used to his new, forever home.  God bless the Zarr family!

 

October 31, Halloween actually marked Gino and my anniversary of our first date, 2007, at Dover Straits-Hoffman Estates.

(The restaurant is now gone, and replaced with a new car lot occupying its former space.)

 

Let’s focus on November!

 

Our Soundz of Time public event will be on November 5,  6:00 PM-10:30 PM, at the Des Plaines Elks Lodge #1526.

The rest of the events are private parties in both IL and the Upper Peninsula of MI and WI. Info below.

 

Gino and I hope that you’ll join us at the Des Plaines Elks Lodge.  Dinner is at 6:00 PM in the dining room. Entertainment begins at 7:00 PM-10:30 PM in the Fireside Lounge.  Cocktail tables/chairs, large dance floor, great people, reasonable prices for cocktails and dinner.  CALL GINO AT 847 508-6903 for rsvns.

October has arrived with all the beautiful colors of Fall!  The weather is more crisp, more chilly, but there are sunny pleasant days too!

Family news:  Our daughter Amy, and husband Justin Zarr, are eagerly awaiting their third child at the end of the month.  Excitement abounds, as we all shall see if it shall be a baby boy or baby girl.!  (They also just celebrated their 8th wedding anniversary September 27!)

HELLO FAMILY AND FRIENDS,

Where is the summer going, for which we waited all year? Please linger a little longer letting us bask in your soft breezes and hot sunny rays.

August is the time for more festivals all over the Midwest and Upper Peninsula of N WI and N MI, where we perform throughout the month.

Gino and I were so happy to welcome our kids, the Enders and Zarr families, to enjoy the Upper Peninsula at our little home away from home, In N. MI, over the 4th of July weekend. A tight squeeze with seven people, but they always leave the house immaculate!

This is the time for family and friends to celebrate each other, and the nature around us.

The two public events this month are the IRON MOUNTAIN, MICHIGAN ITALIAN FEST, where we’ve had the honor of performing for the last seven years. Every year it gets better and better! See the info below for particulars.

The other public event is the IRON COUNTY FAIR, where we have been invited to perform for the very first time, in Iron River, MI.
