HELLO, FAMILY AND FRIENDS!
 
Summer is supposedly gone, but Indian Summer may save us some treasured warm days and nights!
Fall is a gorgeous time of the year, with the leaves turning their brilliant shades of yellow, orange, red, brown, etc.  Pretty, certainly in Illinois, but if you choose to take a ride to the Upper Peninsula for “colors”, you WON’T be disappointed. (check out uppermichigan.org for the best time to view!)
 
October, 2014 will find Gino and I enjoying a couple of weeks rest at the beginning of the month.

This is a private club.  Gino (Luigi) is an Elk, and may invite personal guests to join us when we
perform at the Elks Lodge.  Dinner, in the lovely dining room is at 6:00 PM.  (Selections are great, reasonable prices!)  We perform in the Fireside Lounge, a nice place for dancing, with a large dance floor, and small tables and chairs, in an intimate setting.  We begin at 7:00 PM, until 10:30 PM. with listening and dance music!
If you wish to book a reservation, you must CALL in advance, preferably 24 hours prior to the event,
to GINO  847 508-6903.  Management/staff will not admit late-comers, or those without a reservation
as a guest of Elks member, Gino (Luigi) Soldano.  There will be door-greeters.
The Elks Lodge is always interested in having NEW members join this great organization.  If you have any questions about joining the ELKS LODGE, please ask Gino.  He will direct you to an informative member of the ELKS that evening, in order to assist you.

Gino and I hope that you are thoroughly enjoying the summer, which is finalllllllly here!
We have a new granddaughter, born July  22, 2014.  Her name is Isabella Ann Zarr, weighing in at 7 pounds, 8 ounces, at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington heights, IL.
 
Now, we have a total of three grandchildren!  Since I am an only child, this is a HUGE deal for me!  We all feel very blessed.
 
August seems to be the time for FESTA ITALIANA all over the place!  In our case, we will perform at three of them in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. One, previously done in July, main-stage in Ishpeming, MI. (near Marquette,)
 
The other two shall be listed below, should any YOOPERS, or ILLINOISANS wish to make the trip,which as always, we will advise which events shall be open to the public.

Gino and I are hoping that you are all enjoying the summer for which we’ve longed!
Our grandchildren are growing and beautiful…..plus one on the way, THIS MONTH!  (My youngest daughter, Amy and her husband Justin, are expecting a little girl about the 24th!)  We are hoping that she arrives early, so that we are here in Illinois to welcome her to the family!

June 2014 Schedule

Hello Family and Friends!
FINALLLLLY….we can look forward to Summer!
Gino and I spent all of April and the first full week of May on vacation.  We drove to Del Ray Beach, Florida in order to bring a truck load of décor for Gino’s condo.  Then we boarded a flight from West Palm Beach, FL to San Diego (via Atlanta)on April 10 th.
We spent four nights being tourists in San Diego, then boarded the Celebrity Infinity cruise ship for a 15 day Panama Canal cruise.
It was simply amazing how a man-made invention could maneuver large ships through such a narrow passageway!
We visited Mexico, Guatemala, Panama, Costa Rica, and Columbia.  The  cruise terminated in Miami, FL.
We stayed an additional week in Del Ray Beach (near Boca Raton), then drove back to IL.
It was a wonderful vacation. visiting countries, AND family members (in their FL condos) as well!
The only problem was me.  I caught a virus and couldn’t utter a word for three weeks.  (Not a good thing for a singer!  it was sort of like a ballerina trying to dance with a broken ankle!) Gino to the rescue… performing three, one-hour shows solo!
Now that we are 100%, and ready to rock, the wheel begins!

Hello Family and Friends!

Gino and I are taking a SPRING BREAK from April 01-May 6th, to enjoy a well-deserved vacation!
We will let you know what was in store for us with the June Calendar of Events.

Please note that we will be posting our May calendar of events at this time. We are SO hoping that we all get nothing but wonderful weather for the rest of the Spring and Summer! After all we have been through this awful winter, it isn’t asking too much!

March 2014 Schedule

Hello, Family and Friends,
We are all pretty-much at the end of our ropes, what with the consistent snow and freezing weather!
Spring just HAS to come soon!
Gino and I had spent about  three nights in the Upper Peninsula performing for private parties.
Although we do have a vacation home in the woods, we spent the last night at a Days Inn, because we were so afraid of the weatherman’s warnings of a foot of snow on the way.  We have a very long and steep driveway.  The kind of snow they were forecasting was the kind mixed with ice, and severe winds.
We were fine in iron Mountain at the hotel. The roads on the way back to IL, were like traveling
on chunks of peanut brittle, all the way to Green Bay!  Ugh!
We have a full schedule for March, and hope that you might escape your cabin fever and join us for a fun night of great music, dancing, and entertainment!

February 2014 Schedule

Hello, Family and Friends!

What a HORRIBLY cold winter so far!  Ugh!  Spring can’t arrive soon enough for us!  Gino left for Del Ray Beach, Florida to supervise the remodeling of his fixer-upper condo he had purchased.  He spent the whole month cleaning, buying new appliances, and visiting with his NY/NJ (snowbird) family members who also live near his complex.

I stayed behind to assist my daughter, Jill, and her husband, Jeremy, with their newborn baby girl, Giuliana Marie, so that they could get some needed rest.  It was pure joy for me to do so!

As February is coming around the corner, it’s time to list our monthly events.  We will again spend a couple of days in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan to perform for private events, and both public/private events in Illinois.  Gino and I hope that you will come out and join us for a well-deserved night out on the town! It’s the month of love!

January 2014 Schedule

HAPPY NEW YEAR, 2014, FAMILY AND FRIENDS!
We are SO proud to announce the new baby in our family, Miss Giuliana Marie Enders, belonging to my daughter Jill and her husband Jeremy.  She arrived two weeks early, weighing in at 7 lb. 13 oz. 21 1/2 inches long, with a full head of hair.  She arrived on  December 21, 2013. , at  1:22 PM. Mama Jill and Daddy Jeremy are beside themselves with joy, as are we, all the grandparents!
So now, the Lazore, Enders, and Zarr families are blessed with two grandchildren. Joey Zarr and Giuilana Enders!   And so……our little family grows and prospers…….
After 22 Christmas-theme performances in December, it’s time to put the Holiday Show to  bed, until December, 2014. We enjoyed them all, even the harsh climate of the U.P. (-11 the whole week that we were there!)  We made people happy…that was our goal!
Gino and I have blocked out most of January, so that we can assist Jill and Jeremy to become accustomed to parenthood, when needed, and still baby sit for little Joey, for Amy and Justin.
We will perform only in Illinois in the month of January.  Please view the private and public
