November 2013 Schedule

Hello Family and Friends!
 
Here it is November!  We’ve enjoyed the “‘lazy, crazy, hazy days of Summer”, and the beautiful colors of Fall.  Now, we look forward to yet another season, but much colder in our Midwest area of the country. 
Our family has so much for which to look forward: Our daughter Jill’s birthday, a baby shower, my son Bill being newly engaged, and Jill and her husband Jeremy’s new baby coming the first week of January, 2014!
 
The month of November is again a busy one for Gino and I. As usual,  we will split our performance time between Illinois, and the Upper Peninsula of WI and MI., for both private and public performances, and will note same below.

try to create new and fresh material for listening and dancing to your favorite hits, up through the 1980’s! You are so appreciated!

September 2013 Schedule

Hello Family and friends,

Excuse me?  Where exactly did our summer go?  Here we are heading into Fall!  Kids are going back to school, all ready for a fresh start!

Gino and I were fortunate enough to perform at both the Italian Fest in Ishpeming, MI. and the one in Iron Mountain, MI.  This was our 5th year in Iron MT, and 3rd in Ishpeming.  It is such an honor to be invited back for an audience of over 3000 people!  If we are lucky we’ll get them both in 2014!  (They love the Sinatra duets, and ESPECIALLY, Gino’s Italian language songs!  (We had fair and sunny weather too!)

Even though we were working, Gino and I DID get  to join one of our singles groups (New Horizons Singles of Du Page County-Lombard)) for a short weekend in Fish Creek, Door County, WI.  If you haven’t been there, we highly recommend seeing it!  There’s lots to do, and very colorful!.

Gino and I are preparing for a very busy month with venues in both IL and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, and Northern Wisconsin.

As always, we wish to acknowledge our appreciation of your support, friendship, and love!  Thank you so much!

Gino and I are hoping that you are enjoying your summertime to the fullest!  Our family is so joyous over the news of a January baby coming to my daughter, Jill and her husband Jeremy…..their first!
Gino and I had become engaged at our friend’s home, during a get-together with former co-workers!  A great surprise and VERY traditional down-on-one-knee proposal.  (Impressive, Gino!)

It seems to have taken forever….but the beautiful SUMMER weather is finally coming our way! YAY! It’s my favorite time of the year. The hotter the better for me; For Gino not so much. He’s happier when it is about 70 degrees.

June 22nd marks my grandson Joey’s, first birthday. It will be a wonderful family celebration for
such a handsome, healthy, smart little boy!

Hello, Family and Friends!

Finally.. …..some great weather to which to look forward! Gino and I had taken a vacation from the 14th of March through the 29th. We decided to drive
to Ft. Lauderdale rather than fly. (OK, not a great idea, but fun anyway!) Since we didn’t know exactly what time we’d arrive, an over-night stay hadn’t been pre-arranged. (No room in the inns, shall we say, Spring break in Florida!) We went north another 76 miles to Stuart, Florida, where, luckily we found a Best Western at $140 per night….and VERY thankful to have found THAT one!

The next day, we boarded the Ruby Princess to see the Eastern Caribbean Islands. Nassau, At Sea, St. Thomas, St. Martin, At Sea, and Princess Cay, a seven night cruise. We enjoyed wonderful service, 80 degree, sunny weather, and great food. Gino even made the POP STAR FINALS!
3000 passengers on board, full ship. I lost out to a team of senior high school cheerleaders! (Oh well..they brought in more votes)

The end of the cruise lead us to Del Ray Beach, where Gino’s brother, sisters, and cousin have their (snowbirds from NY /NJ) condos, where we spent four nights, before returning to Illinois. Again, great beach weather, non-stop Italian food, and family camaraderie!

April found us performing almost daily. We are thankful for the welcome break, but anxious to resume our career.
